Common Name(s): Buddha’s Temple, Miniature Pagoda Plant

Origin: A cultivated hybrid, highly prized by collectors worldwide.

Description:

A plant of mesmerising geometry, Crassula ‘Buddha’s Temple’ forms stunning, upright columns of tightly stacked leaves that resemble an intricate pagoda or temple. Its powdery, silver-green foliage flushes with pink or red tips when happily stressed by sun, adding to its sculptural beauty. A slow-growing succulent, it remains compact for years, eventually producing clusters of delicate, pale pink flowers from its apex. A true masterpiece for minimalist décor, terrariums, or a prized spot in a serious collector’s display.

Care:

☀️ Light: Bright, indirect light to partial sun. Avoid intense afternoon sun to prevent scorching.

💧 Water: Drought-tolerant – Water thoroughly only when the soil is completely dry.

🌱 Soil: A very gritty, well-draining mix (succulent soil with extra perlite or pumice).

🌡️ Temp: Keep above 5°C. Protect from frost and excessive winter wet.

⚠️ Note: Excellent air circulation is key to preventing rot in its tightly packed leaves.

Pet Friendly: ❌ Toxic to pets – Harmful if ingested by cats or dogs.
